The bubbles are cut into the mat itself, so the shape reads before the pattern does.
Designed and made in Spain by Tarta Gelatina in organic cotton — a tufted pile mat shaped to its own outline rather than cut from a rectangle.
Straight out of the shower, and then hung over the bath edge to dry so the pile keeps its loft. Machine wash and it comes back fluffier than it went in.
