Ingredients
Cocoa mass, cane sugar, cocoa butter, cacao nibs, natural vanilla powder.
Nibs are the bean before it becomes chocolate: roasted, crunchy, frankly bitter. They make a 73% bar taste stronger than the number suggests.
Meurisse is a Belgian maker working with organic, Fairtrade cacao grown along the Sepik river in Papua New Guinea. The bars are moulded in Belgium.
We break the bar into squares and leave them out for ten minutes before eating. Cold chocolate gives away almost nothing.
