Hand-poured in Provence, each candle is made of 100% vegetable soy wax with a pure cotton wick. The fragrance is developed in Grasse, the world’s capital of perfume, blending tradition with refinement.
Scent Nr. 1: Les Grandes Vacances evokes the warm memory of summer holidays on the beaches between Hyères and Saint-Tropez. A bright opening of lemon, lavender, and orange blossom gives way to rose and patchouli, before settling into a base of vanilla, amber, and tonka bean.

The jar carries the La Mer drawing, but the wax inside is the amber one: lemon and orange blossom first, then rose and patchouli, closing on vanilla and tonka. It is the warmest scent of the house.
Les Choses Simples works out of Provence, where the candles are hand-poured into apothecary jars. The fragrances themselves are composed in Grasse.
We light it in the late afternoon and leave it long enough for the wax to melt right to the edge — that first burn is what keeps the jar clean for every one after. The lid goes back on once the wax has set.
