The grater plate, a lid and a small spoon, thrown and painted by hand in Spain. Grate the garlic, cover what is left and keep it in the fridge — the same piece carries the job from the board to the table and back.
Most grated garlic ends up wrapped in film. The lid solves that, and the little spoon means the paste comes out without a knife.
Made by Alfar Tierra Cocida, a small pottery in Spain. Plate, lid and spoon are each thrown and painted by hand.
We grate a whole head at once on a Sunday, cover it, and spoon from it through the week.
