Four ingredients and nothing to hide behind — the Sepik beans carry the whole bar, with a fruit note closer to dried apricot than to cocoa.
Meurisse is a Belgian maker working with organic, Fairtrade cacao grown along the Sepik river in Papua New Guinea. The bars are moulded in Belgium.
We break the bar into squares and leave them out for ten minutes before eating. Cold chocolate gives away almost nothing.
