« Cocorico » is the sound a French rooster makes, and the word used whenever the country congratulates itself. « Moi, biscuit de la République » is the line people end up reading out loud.
The messages are stamped into the dough one biscuit at a time, before baking, with Île-de-France wheat flour, AOP Isigny Sainte-Mère butter and free-range eggs. Twelve biscuits to a box, six different lines, each one twice.
We give the box whole and let the person read their way through it. It also works taken apart, one biscuit at a time, left somewhere they will find it.
