The same Cretan olive oil, in a tin. Metal keeps the light out completely, which is exactly what an olive oil wants — and it travels without worry.
We love the tin. Light is what tires an olive oil first, and metal solves that better than any glass bottle. The size means you finish it while it is still at its best.
The same Cretan pressing as the 500 ml bottle, simply packed differently. Cold pressed shortly after harvest to keep acidity low.
We keep one in the cupboard as a reserve and one by the stove. It travels well, which makes it a sensible gift.
