A chawan with a croissant on it — Kyoto and Paris in the same bowl, and it works.
Made by hand at Studio ÜM in the south of Spain — glazed stoneware, thrown or built piece by piece, with raw materials handled to SDS requirements and finished pieces compliant with EU food-contact regulations.
It goes into daily use rather than onto a shelf. Hand wash recommended to preserve the glaze. Every piece is made by hand, so slight variations in shape, size and colour are part of the object rather than a fault.
